It was done. The Moon now had an atmosphere of its own, if a bit thin. The area of breathable air, also known as the Life Zone, only reached 200ft from the ground. It had been a very painstaking and laborious process. Installing nodes across the Moon's surface that would pull oxygen particles from the frozen water trapped below.

Just walking along, it looked as grass beneath your feet. The color was off, nearly blending in with the dusky gray rocks they sat on. But when one looked closer, you could see the pixelated hexagons shimmering across the surface of each blade.

Simon watched as a light breeze kicked up by a passing speeder tousled the small little things. It was peaceful, almost playful in its tranquility. If he concentrated hard enough, he could nearly fool himself into believing that he was still on Earth. It was funny how something that looked so simple was keeping them all alive.

Simon looked up and gazed upon the Earth. He felt a little freer, just a little bit less confined as he scrutinized his homeland. Working as one of the top engineers at the Moon Station made him feel claustrophobic at times. Though nothing could contain the warm swell of pride as he walked amongst the fruit of his labor.
Inspiration can come from anywhere. I've seen so many writers ask the questions, "Can you give me a prompt?" or "What do I write about?" While prompts are a very good starting place, we should not limit ourselves to only being inspired by a single media. Great stories can come from an odd experience, people watching, or a phenomenal piece of visual art! So far, much of my own writing has been limited to prompts and ideas/characters from other writers. So in the spirit of branching out and opening my eyes to other possibilities, I will be providing stories based off of art I've found right here on DA!

My second Inspirational Recognition is dedicated to Experimental Research Moon Complex.
